Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Rare disease experience, particularly in Oncology and/or Neurosciences
  • Demonstrated mastery of presenting clinical/scientific information

Tasks

  • Identify and establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Serve as a scientific expert for the medical community
  • Facilitate the exchange of scientific information
  • Communicate expert opinions and feedback on clinical trends
  • Act as the primary liaison for investigator-initiated research
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations to enhance patient enrollment in trials
  • Support medical congresses and lead clinical discussions
  • Lead national projects as delegated by medical leadership
  • Understand country-specific pharma regulations for MSL activities
  • Provide clinical presentations in various settings
  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with strategy
  • Build relationships with clinical decision-makers at institutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for health economic data generation
  • Mentor new hires and less-experienced MSLs
  • Facilitate field medical onboarding programs
  • Support the Country Medical Director in KOL engagement planning
  • Collaborate with Global Medical Information to improve processes
  • Contribute to national and regional medical strategy
  • Provide scientific support to the Regional Medical Director
