Requirements

  • High motivation
  • Background in single-cell technologies, CRISPR, high-throughput technologies, or molecular biology
  • Master's and Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field
  • Previous publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Knowledge in single-cell RNA-seq, laboratory automation, data analysis, or Drosophila genetics
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Organizational qualifications
  • Effective communication with collaborators
  • Excellent written and oral English command

Tasks

  • Lead high-throughput spatial and single-cell profiling
  • Implement genome-editing approaches in high-throughput
  • Develop and automate single-cell methodologies
  • Apply methodologies for genome-editing analyses
  • Create functional genetic maps using CRISPR/Cas9
  • Perform single and higher-order knockout perturbations
  • Combine profiling with single-cell expression and imaging
  • Collaborate with experimental and theoretical research groups
