Single-Cell Multiomics Application Scientist(m/w/x)
Scientific training and technical support for advanced single-cell analysis platforms at a global MedTech firm. PhD in Molecular Biology or Genomics, with single-cell analysis expertise required. Frequent travel for global on-site training.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology or Genomics
- Ideally 2+ years in industry
- Expertise in single-cell analysis and genomic applications
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for NGS/scRNAseq
- Experience with flow cytometry is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High personal accountability and ethical standards
- Effective interpersonal and emotional intelligence
- Team-orientation and customer-first mindset
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Self-motivation, results-orientation, and commercial acumen
- Fluency in English
- Additional European language is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Basic command line and R/Python knowledge is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 70%
Tasks
- Deliver on-site and remote scientific training
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for research groups
- Guide experimental design and workflow implementation
- Perform basic data analysis and bioinformatics
- Develop teaching materials and learning resources
- Identify and resolve product complaints
- Collaborate with commercial and product management teams
- Maintain accurate case tracking in CRM software
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Stay updated on new products and procedures
