In this internship, you will dive into the world of analog photography by operating a minilab, providing customer service, and managing materials. Your days will be varied, from processing films to assisting with marketing efforts, all while learning valuable skills in a creative environment.

Requirements

  • EU citizenship, EEA citizenship, Swiss citizenship, Working Holiday Visa, or standing work permit for Austria
  • Basic knowledge of analogue photography
  • Detail-oriented and independent working style
  • Willingness to learn and improve processes
  • Communicative
  • Good language skills in German and English
  • Skilled craftsman not afraid of hands-on work
  • Basic Photoshop and scanner knowledge
  • Operational and technical knowledge of Fuji Frontier Minilabs
  • Experience with Epson flatbed and other film scanners

Tasks

  • Operate a minilab for film development
  • Scan and process images
  • Print analog photos
  • Provide customer service for film services
  • Service the minilab equipment
  • Communicate with service technicians
  • Manage stock and order materials
  • Perform backend operations for online lab fulfillment
  • Check orders and upload photos
  • Assist with film and development tests
  • Hand-spool film and perform repairs
  • Market the LomoLAB during slow times
