Requirements

  • Degree in agricultural sciences with focus on cattle or equivalent agricultural training
  • 3+ years of professional experience in herd management, veterinary science, ideally with international exposure or experience managing large-scale farms
  • Deep expertise in automated milking, feeding systems, animal health, and herd management software
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong command of English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Tasks

  • Provide high-level support on herd management topics
  • Guide the use of GEA software solutions like DairyNetBox and CowScout
  • Deliver independent consulting on feeding strategies and milking processes
  • Optimize performance before and after commissioning automated systems
  • Lead complex herd management projects for large-scale farms
  • Design and deliver advanced training programs for herd managers and technical teams
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and global herd managers
  • Handle complex service requests and ensure quality resolution
  • Contribute to projects enhancing herd management processes
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and guidelines
  • Develop impactful presentations
