- Drive dual sourcing and supplier qualification for supply continuity
- Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and negotiate long-term agreements
- Own vendor performance data and report metrics to leadership
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical exposure
- Establish a cross-functional network with engineering and operations
- Partner with NPI and engineering teams for early supplier involvement
- Collaborate with sustainability teams for responsible sourcing
- Maintain expert knowledge of global supply markets and cost drivers
- Monitor market trends and competitive benchmarks for sourcing decisions
- Identify and implement VA/VE opportunities with suppliers
- Lead the category team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
- Build organizational capability in strategic sourcing and negotiation
- Champion digital procurement tools for data-driven decision-making
