Requirements
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming C++, parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP, CUDA), and Python
- Proficiency in numerical methods and physics modelling for Computational Fluid Dynamics or similar PDEs
- Proficiency in high-performance computing
- Leadership skills and innovative mindset
- Advanced level of English and willingness to travel for business
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Develop key components within the CODA kernel
- Implement numerical methods and turbulence modeling
- Optimize high-order schemes and HPC parallelization
- Collaborate with the transnational CODA team and external research partners
- Support Airbus's global strategy for computational simulations
- Participate in code reviews and manage integration processes
- Contribute to the long-term architecture roadmap
- Perform CODA simulations for end-users
- Apply the solver to real flight physics challenges
- Drive proactive working methods within an Agile framework
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
