As a Valves Development Engineer, you will focus on designing and optimizing valve components for high-thrust rocket engines. This role involves collaborating with various teams and leading test campaigns to enhance performance and reliability.

Anforderungen

• •Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline, or bachelor's degree with substantial relevant experience
• •Hands-on experience developing hardware from concept to working prototypes
• •Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design
• •Good understanding of industry standard and emerging manufacturing methods and constraints
• •Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software and drafting
• •Experience writing software/scripts in languages like Python
• •Ability to infer system-level implications of component design choices
• •Proficient in conducting thermomechanical analysis
• •Relevant experience with cryogenic fluids
• •Strong ability to work in close collaboration with others
• •Strong oral and written communication skills
• •Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• •Strong research skills and ability to infer useful information from partial or contradictory sources
• •Drive towards excellence and ability to work within time constraints
• •Proficiency in organization and prioritization of tasks
• •Fluency in English
• •Strong understanding of liquid-propellant rocket engines as a system (optional)

Aufgaben

• •Design and develop cryogenic valves
• •Perform engineering calculations for thermo-mechanical and stress-strain analysis
• •Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD/CAE tools
• •Analyze and select materials for cryogenic and high-temperature applications
• •Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and production teams
• •Lead test campaigns and analyze results for design improvements
• •Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and manuals
