Anforderungen
- B.Sc / M.Sc in aerospace, mechanical engineering or similar
- Development or testing of complex systems, preferably with extreme operating conditions
- Test data acquisition, reduction and evaluation experience
- Design of fluid and mechanical systems from concept to installation
- Troubleshooting experience and curiosity
- Physical dexterity for confined spaces, lifting approx. 20 kg loads
- Willingness to work outdoors
- Performance in high-stress environments, maintaining focus for long durations
- Adaptability to changing work environment
- High quality and safety mindset, attention to detail, can-do attitude
- Active and open communication in a constructive manner
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- EU category B driving license
- Hands-on experience with fluid systems and piping/tubing
- Experience with test system instrumentation
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Matlab, C, C#)
- Experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
- Knowledge of cryogenic fluid rocket propulsion systems
- Knowledge of hazardous systems (cryogenic, flammable, explosive)
- Affiliations with countries listed under § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may affect application process
Aufgaben
- Plan and execute tests
- Prepare and process test data
- Write test reports
- Develop internal test standards
- Maintain test procedures and sequences
- Participate in maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot existing test benches
- Assist in designing test rigs
- Lay out sensors
- Design test set-ups for ad-hoc needs
- Conduct test operations at production and test sites
- Work closely with design engineers for fast iterations
- Ensure safe and efficient operations
