- Excellent fluid dynamics and thermodynamics understanding
- Hands-on rocket/aircraft engine/component test preparation and execution
- Data analysis of rocket/aircraft engine/component tests
- Manufacturing of engine components (additive manufacturing preferred)
- Proficiency in Python, Matlab or comparable programming language
- Highly motivated, proactive, open-minded, willing to get hands dirty, eager to learn
- Fluent English
- Experience in non-reacting and reacting CFD simulations (ANSYS Fluent preferred)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs (SolidWorks preferred)
Aufgaben
- Conduct TCA and combustion device component tests
- Handle and analyze test data
- Improve TCA and combustion device test processes
- Perform water spray testing of TCA and combustion devices
- Support subscale and integrated engine hotfire tests
- Assist in other development tests
- Enhance data analysis code
- Model components
- Complete CAD tasks
- Maintain documentation
