Anforderungen
- Experience with simulation platforms (VTD, Unity, Unreal Engine, Carla, ASM)
- Simulation development and software engineering experience
- Understanding, maintenance, and ownership of complex software systems
- Excellent Python programming skills

- Refactoring, documenting, and stabilizing legacy systems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills

- Understanding of autonomous driving systems
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 and ASPICE
- Experience with cloud-based or HPC environments
- Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure (AWS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
- Understanding of scalable cloud-native architectures
- Experience with vehicle dynamics modeling, sensor calibration, or physics simulation
- Excitement about building simulation infrastructure for autonomous driving
- Willingness to apply even without meeting every requirement
Aufgaben
- Design and implement high-fidelity 3D environments
- Develop and validate vehicle models
- Integrate digital twins into simulation workflows
- Work with sensor models for realistic perception
- Collaborate with domain experts on environment parameters
- Design advanced scenario toolchain and automation frameworks
- Build reusable components for test case generation
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and version control
- Support infrastructure scaling for large-scale simulations
- Absorb and take ownership of external simulation infrastructure
- Support knowledge transfer from supplier teams
- Refactor and stabilize externally developed systems
- Identify and address architectural risks and technical debt
- Contribute to internal simulation standards and best practices
- Reduce supplier dependency in feature development
- Enable internal teams to evolve validation toolchain
- Collaborate with validation, systems, and autonomous driving teams
