- 10+ years designing B2B SaaS desktop applications
- Staff/Principal Product Designer or similar experience
- Experience with dense interfaces (tables, filters, permissions, settings)
- Experience as sole or one of two/three designers in companies < 50 people
- Ability to set design bar without a design org
- Portfolio showcasing individual contributions
- Ability to detail design decisions and outcomes
- Clear and concise English communication
- Fast Figma proficiency
- Proficiency with LLMs
- Treating engineering feasibility as input, not constraint
- Ability to find shipping versions of features
- Comfortable performing product work without PM title
- Responsiveness to feedback and iteration
- Ability to improve designs based on feedback
Aufgaben
- Own feature from initial customer conversation to production
- Write detailed specifications for features
- Pair closely with engineers throughout the build process
- Oversee design implementation in production
- Maintain design components and patterns
- Manage project workflow without PMs
- Build tools and skills for efficient design collaboration
- Conduct customer interviews and frame problems
- Create and refine design specifications
- Adjust designs based on engineering feedback
- Review and verify code changes in production
- Participate in customer calls and understand customer language
- Ship initial designs to production
- Improve the product design process
- Defend and enhance the design system
