Anforderungen
- Degree in business administration, economics, or HR specialist qualification
- At least 5 years of professional payroll experience (German framework)
- Knowledge of German social security, tax, and labour law
- Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes and external providers
- Proficiency in HR IT systems, Excel, and databases
- Experience with payroll process improvement, standardisation, and automation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (international)
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Structured, quality-conscious approach with continuous improvement mindset
Aufgaben
- Own and coordinate the end-to-end payroll process for Germany
- Act as Germany's payroll subject matter expert
- Contribute to regional payroll excellence across EMEA
- Manage payroll processing, reporting, monitoring, controls, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements
- Process and develop company and collectively agreed benefits
- Manage occupational pension schemes and lifetime working time accounts
- Provide expert guidance on complex German payroll topics
- Coordinate and communicate with external institutions
- Support statutory and internal audits
- Provide payroll data, documentation, and explanations for audits
- Involve Finance, Tax, Legal, or Total Rewards in audits as needed
- Advise employees, managers, and stakeholders on payroll processes
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation
- Document payroll processes
- Contribute to local, regional, and global payroll projects
- Support a second country as backup for operational continuity
