- Coordinate with contract manufacturers for part fabrication
- Create CAD designs for mechanical parts
- Simulate and optimize thermal and mechanical properties
- Develop packaging and housing for electro-optical components
- Support assembly processes for new components
- Lead internal subprojects for advanced R&D initiatives
- Present technical results at reviews and conferences
- Transfer research outcomes into product development
