- Fluency in German and English (speaking and writing)
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Substantial experience in electrical power design and construction
- Accredited engineering credentials preferred
- Data Center and/or mission critical experience
- Experience with EU construction markets required, NA construction markets preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, AmpCalc and ETAP modelling software
- Understanding of Revit, BIM and Navisworks environments
- Working knowledge of critical power infrastructure in data center projects
- Working knowledge of building and fire codes ordinances, including IEC standards
- National and international travel required expected to be 10 to 15%
Aufgaben
- Design high-level schematic systems
- Develop project specifications
- Review submittals and design documents
- Manage design-build contractors
- Oversee installation processes
- Participate in commissioning activities
- Transition projects to operations
- Collaborate with mechanical and BMS contractors
- Coordinate with construction management and procurement teams
- Resolve complex engineering tasks
- Enhance existing standards for projects
- Evaluate designs for CAPEX and OPEX balance
- Interface with clients during design and construction
- Provide technical engineering information for datacenter compliance
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards and codes
- Create and review commissioning scripts
- Attend project design team meetings
- Process project plans and participate in approvals
- Conduct on-site job walks and meetings
- Review sequences of operations for electrical systems
- Support site operations in troubleshooting existing systems
- Review project plans and equipment submittals
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams across disciplines
- Conduct value engineering analyses and provide recommendations
- Participate in product development and patent applications
- Ensure constructed products meet engineering specifications
- Balance cost-effective solutions with operational sustainability
- Provide project coordination and commissioning support
- Utilize engineering analysis programs for load and lighting analysis
- Manage internal and external design teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned
