- 3+ years in NLP
- Focus on agents and agentic orchestration
- Published scholarly papers (big plus)
- Business trips within Europe on demand (3-4 per year)
Aufgaben
- Design and integrate AI features into product flows
- Collaborate with Product on AI feature requirements
- Translate procurement logic into structured prompts and schemas
- Work closely with other engineering teams
- Develop AI infrastructure and orchestration (proxies, lambdas, streaming)
- Follow existing architecture and design correct approaches
- Work with Python services, Fast API, REST APIs, streaming, and deployment constraints
- Collaborate on infrastructure topics without being pure MLOps
- Ensure AI quality, evaluation, and alignment with business logic
- Refine, support, and continuously improve AI features
- Design and run evaluation pipelines for AI features
- Monitor and upgrade AI feature quality continuously
- Implement custom, business-logic-driven checks for LLM outputs
- Evaluate RAG and LLM accuracy, consistency, and hallucination controls
- Write and maintain validation logic and guardrail code
- Ensure AI governance and EU AI Act compliance
- Work under EU AI Act constraints and internal governance
- Document model usage, data flows, and risks for each AI feature
- Define guardrails with Product and Security teams
- Participate in training, documentation, and audits
- Own building models and safe, secure AI operations
- Monitor AI component logs and metrics
- Specify and interpret monitoring for AI flows
- Understand versioning and backwards compatibility of AI outputs
- Communicate clearly with Product, Engineering, Security, and Business teams
- Translate DS/ML decisions into clear Jira tickets and Confluence docs
- Explain AI issues, limitations, and improvements to customers and CS
- Lead or co-lead refinements, design reviews, and post-mortems for AI features
- Research and deliver focused PoCs/MVPs based on product/tech roadmap
- Stay updated with LLM, RAG, and evaluation research
- Translate relevant research ideas into shippable solutions
- Justify model, architecture, and vendor choices for procurement use cases
- Maintain a research backlog and prioritize by product impact and feasibility
- Document research decisions and learnings
- Work with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Implement advanced reasoning techniques (Chain-of-Thought, ReAct, Plan-and-Execute)
- Define safe APIs and connect agents to external systems
- Implement memory and state management (short-term and vector-based)
- Design benchmarks to measure agent performance
- Ensure reliability and cost-efficiency of AI systems
- Implement guardrails to prevent prompt injection and maintain ethical, legal compliance
- Translate business goals into agent workflows
- Critically evaluate AI outputs for errors or bias
- Communicate complex AI reasoning effectively to stakeholders
