As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting financial operations for the German entity, managing accounts, ensuring compliance, and assisting with reporting. Your contributions will help shape the financial landscape of the company.

Anforderungen

• •Solid accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
• •Education related to accounting or financial management or a related field
• •Fluency in English and German
• •Strong basic skills of working with MS Excel
• •Attention to details and ability to work accurately, efficiently & meet tight deadlines
• •Ability to work independently and as a team player
• •Problem solver, flexibly embracing change and ability to learn
• •Experience of working with accounting packages, SAP experience an advantage
• •Knowledge and experience of German tax requirements considered as advantage

Aufgaben

• •Provide data entry and accounting support for the German entity
• •Prepare and enter general journal entries according to company policy and US GAAP and German GAAP
• •Verify the accuracy of accounting journals and related documents per established procedures
• •Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including inter-company reconciliations
• •Manage the Fixed Assets ledger
• •Participate in the month-end close process
• •Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations
• •Ensure compliance with company policy
• •Support the Country Finance Manager with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, audits, budgets, and government grants
• •Assist the German entity and regional Finance SSC with assigned projects
• •Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across the region
