- Strong technical accounting skills
- Knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS
- Ability to prepare financial statements
- Ability to lead local audits
- Minimum 5 years experience in Financial Reporting
- Minimum 5 years experience in Accounting
- Good understanding of VAT accounting
- Good understanding of general tax accounting
- Experience with financial statement reporting
- Experience with local statutory filing obligations
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good written communication skills
- Good oral communication skills
- Well organized

Aufgaben
- Manage all financial duties for German entities
- Analyze and interrogate key balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Prepare and post associated journals
- Prepare financial statements for legal entities (German GAAP and IFRS)
- Manage month-end processes
- Prepare and post month-end journals
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits
- Ensure timely preparation of corporate tax returns
- Process corporate tax payments
- Reconcile corporate tax-related balance sheet accounts
- Ensure timely preparation of VAT returns
- Process VAT payments
- Reconcile VAT-related balance sheet accounts
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Serve as local contact for T&E questions and compliance
- Support the payroll department
- Post payroll transactions
- Review automated payroll feeds
