You will drive the financial health of the company's German entity by managing core accounting cycles and compliance, while collaborating on regional projects and statutory reporting.

Anforderungen

• •Solid accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
• •Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• •Education in accounting, financial management, or related field
• •Fluency in English and German
• •Strong basic MS Excel skills
• •Attention to detail and accuracy
• •Ability to meet tight deadlines

• •Problem-solving skills and flexibility
• •Ability to learn
• •Experience with accounting packages
• •SAP experience an advantage
• •Knowledge of German tax requirements as advantage

Aufgaben

• •Provide data entry and accounting support
• •Prepare journal entries following US and German GAAP
• •Verify accuracy of accounting journals and documents
• •Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• •Perform all necessary inter-company reconciliations
• •Maintain the fixed assets ledger
• •Participate in the month-end closing process
• •Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• •Ensure compliance with company policies
• •Assist with internal and statutory reporting
• •Support audits, annual budgets, and government grants
• •Collaborate on assigned regional finance projects
• •Build effective relationships with regional colleagues
