Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical engineering, Microbiology, Natural sciences, or equivalent
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in regulated, industrial, or scientific environment
- Working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (ISO 17664, MDR 2017/745, ANSI/AAMI ST98, FDA guidance, reprocessing standards)
- Understanding of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and validation principles for reusable medical devices
- Solution-oriented working style, cross-functional understanding, and teamwork skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical designs
- Good verbal English skills and clear communication style
- Good written English skills and experience documenting scientific results
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Basic intercultural competence, understanding of interfaces, stakeholder needs, and looking beyond own responsibility
Aufgaben
- Support compliant, efficient, and harmonized technology and product development
- Manage lifecycle activities for medical device reprocessing
- Perform reprocessing validations according to existing standards
- Ensure high-quality documentation for reprocessing validations
- Build and maintain expertise in applicable regulations and standards
- Translate regulations into streamlined internal processes and documentation
- Support 3rd party laboratory cooperations for project execution
- Collaborate with external testing laboratories on cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization validation
- Work with cross-functional teams across the Olympus Group
- Provide internal and external guidance within your area of expertise
- Communicate results to relevant stakeholders
- Support continuous optimization of QMS processes
- Enhance reprocessing testing strategies
