- Proven experience in process engineering/modeling in chemical or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience using tools such as gPROMS/gWAP or Dynochem
- Experience in building models using Python or MATLAB or another coding language
- Strong knowledge of chemistry, chemical processes, and equipment
- Expertise in process design and optimization
- Strong drive to learn and master new technologies and modeling techniques
- Strong conceptual thinking skills
- Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and relevant software
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- German language skills are a plus
Aufgaben
- Provide process engineering input for scale-up and scale-down
- Support optimization of batch and continuous processes
- Embed engineering considerations in early-stage process design
- Develop and expand the internal scale-up/scale-down modeling platform
- Simplify user interfaces for generalist applications
- Build relationships with universities and research consortia
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists and data scientists
- Contribute to regulatory filings and define design spaces
- Assess technological advancements in the market
- Identify new technologies for implementation
- Utilize modeling techniques to drive business results
- Uncover solutions in experimental datasets
- Improve process outcomes through data insights
- Mentor project teams in process modeling
