Managing a packaging production plant, focusing on safety and budget targets. 3-5 years of production management experience in serial production required. Shift work, 4-person team.
Anforderungen
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
- Technical vocational training with 3–5 years experience as Production Manager or comparable role
- Experience in serial or mass production, preferably in packaging industry

Aufgaben
- Lead and manage the plant to achieve key performance indicators
- Ensure occupational safety and accident prevention
- Meet or exceed plant budget targets
- Increase productivity
- Reduce costs
- Comply with quality requirements
- Ensure customer satisfaction in collaboration with Sales Management
- Report adverse developments and submit improvement proposals
- Promote sustainable and ethical conduct
- Manage plant operations according to corporate policies
- Manage Production, Technical Services, Warehouse/Shipping, and Quality Assurance
- Prepare and comply with the plant budget
- Define the plant’s investment plan
- Execute investment calculations
- Determine plant utilization levels and implement corrective measures
- Define and monitor production KPIs
- Comply with accident prevention and legal requirements
- Improve occupational safety and employee health
- Coordinate with other plants to achieve group success
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager on customer requirements
- Provide technical customer support
- Prepare training plans for the plant
- Develop works agreements with the Works Council
- Conduct Occupational Safety Committee meetings
- Promote constructive cooperation with the Works Council
- Encourage innovation and participation in cross-plant projects
- Support and implement change management processes
- Hire and terminate blue-collar permanent staff
- Hire and terminate salaried employees
- Ensure and document employee training and development
- Handle disciplinary matters
- Monitor performance evaluations of blue-collar employees
- Ensure fair remuneration according to collective wage agreements
- Represent company policy and foster optimal cooperation
- Motivate and develop employees
- Conduct annual performance and development reviews
