- Ability to translate business requirements into network solutions
- Strategic thinking to align network architecture with objectives
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
- Maintain TS/SCI clearance and additional required clearances
- Ability to obtain and maintain TESA approval
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or related field plus 5 years experience
- Master's degree in related field plus 3 years experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 9 years experience
- Industry certifications (JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP-ENT, JNCIE-ENT)
- Additional certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent)
- 2-4 years hands-on network engineering experience
- Configuring and supporting Juniper hardware
- Experience with DoD network environments and security requirements
- Background working with Top Secret systems and secure network infrastructure
- Familiarity with government compliance frameworks and standards
- Ability to work in office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environments
- Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces
- Capable of tolerating extreme temperature variances
