- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field
- Qualification as welding engineer
- 10 years of experience in Mechanical Integrity and process equipment
- Knowledge in Materials, Welding, NDT, and damage mechanisms in process facilities
- Highly self-motivated and positive communication skills
- Fluency in English and German (or other cluster language)
Aufgaben
- Act as the MI Design Authority for new capital projects
- Conduct technical reviews of engineering designs
- Approve equipment specifications and piping stress analyses
- Participate in Project Hazard Reviews to identify integrity risks
- Define and approve inspection plans during fabrication and installation
- Ensure compliance of inspection and testing activities with regulations
- Review and approve repair plans for pressure equipment
- Maintain knowledge of relevant codes and regulations
- Provide technical guidance as the subject matter expert for pressure equipment integrity
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations for equipment failures
- Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks
