Anforderungen
- Academic degree in scientific or technical area (Master or PhD), preferably biotechnology, biochemistry or bio/chemical process engineering
- 8+ years of industry (manufacturing) experience
- 6+ years of manufacturing experience with bioprocesses
- Experience working in a cGMP environment
- Good knowledge of safety principles, quality systems, and cGMP
- Relevant work experience in lab, pilot plant, manufacturing, or manufacturing support setting
- Extensive knowledge in downstream processing of biotechnologically manufactured products
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment with changing priorities
- Ability to react flexibly to requests
- Very good (intercultural) communication skills
- Knowledge of process validation, process transfers, and single-use technologies
Aufgaben
- Build and sustain technical capabilities in process engineering
- Coach and mentor technical SMEs
- Provide recommendations for technical decisions
- Collaborate with technical experts across Roche
- Support strategic initiatives in the Roche manufacturing network
- Lead technology and innovation projects
- Embody Lean Leadership principles
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Analyze end-to-end production processes and facility capabilities
- Identify opportunities for improvement in safety, quality, and supply robustness
- Reduce operational costs and lead times
- Prevent problems in production processes
- Plan and coordinate troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with pilot laboratories, production, and quality departments
- Drive technical standardization and knowledge exchange
- Serve as an SME in inspections and root cause analysis
- Represent the site in Network Teams (UoTs, MPET)
- Become a site SME and decision marker in strategic technical changes
- Serve as primary contact for Roche Biologics Drug Substance network partners
- Interface between Manufacturing and MSAT
- Carry out data analysis for process monitoring
