  • Experience with advanced supplier relationships
  • At least 3 years leadership experience

  • Experience in mechanical engineering company (low volumes - high mix)

Aufgaben

  • Plan and control direct materials
  • Develop and implement materials strategy
  • Lead materials project initiatives
  • Optimize material flow for lean and continuous improvement
  • Manage indirect labor productivity in the materials department
  • Monitor inventory turns, on-time shipping, and order fill rate
  • Ensure timely material delivery and inventory management
  • Schedule production and manage materials movement
  • Measure and improve supplier performance
  • Implement and support Materials and SIOP standard work processes
  • Facilitate collaboration with Sourcing, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Accounting, and Quality Assurance
  • Develop and execute countermeasures for underperforming processes and suppliers
  • Select, develop, and evaluate materials personnel
  • Drive digitization of planning and demand reporting
  • Manage supplier deliveries in a Lean manufacturing environment
  • Plan, evaluate, organize, integrate, and delegate tasks
  • Assign jobs based on staff requirements
  • Support Global Procurement Commodity Leaders in supplier selection
  • Develop and implement professional development programs for materials personnel
  • Align production plans with SIOP consensus plans
  • Enhance supplier relationships
  • Perform additional duties as required
