Aufgaben

  • Plan and control direct materials
  • Develop and implement materials strategy
  • Lead materials project initiatives
  • Optimize material flow for lean and continuous improvement
  • Manage indirect labor productivity in materials department
  • Monitor inventory turns and on-time shipping
  • Ensure order fill rate and reduce days past due
  • Optimize materials management activities
  • Schedule production and manage inventory control
  • Oversee materials movement and supplier performance
  • Implement and support Materials and SIOP standard work processes
  • Facilitate interaction with Sourcing, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Accounting, and Quality Assurance
  • Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming processes and suppliers
  • Select, develop, and evaluate materials personnel
  • Drive improvement initiatives like digitizing planning and demand reporting
  • Manage supplier deliveries in lean manufacturing environment
  • Plan, evaluate, organize, integrate, and delegate tasks
  • Assign jobs based on staff requirements
  • Support Global Procurement Commodity Leaders in supplier selection
  • Develop and implement professional development program for materials personnel
  • Align production plan with SIOP consensus plan
  • Improve supplier relationships
  • Perform other assigned duties
