- Several years of professional experience in Network Operations, ideally in a global and complex IT environment
- Deep expertise in network technologies such as routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and cloud networking (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Proficient in using network management tools and protocols (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Cisco Prime, SolarWinds)
- Strong knowledge of network security, including implementation and monitoring of protective measures and awareness of current threat landscapes
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide teams through change
- Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence
- Strategic mindset combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel occasionally in an international context
Aufgaben
- Lead and develop a high-performing Network Operations team
- Plan, implement, and maintain the global network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and availability
- Conduct performance analysis and manage incident resolution
- Define and implement network standards and policies
- Ensure network security with technical safeguards
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external service providers
- Manage the network operations budget and optimize costs
- Initiate and lead innovation projects for network improvement
- Maintain documentation and knowledge management of network processes
