- Native or equivalent fluency in German and English
- Strong translation skills from English into German
- Experience in Language Service Provider (LSP) environment
- Experience managing translation/localization projects (English to German)
- Experience in professional education sector preferred
- Academic background in Translation Studies desirable
- Academic background in German Linguistics desirable
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
- Meet time and budget requirements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Use CAT tools
- Use Machine Translation (MT)
- Use TMS
- Experience with XTM advantageous
- Handle various file formats
- Solid understanding of file engineering in localization
- ECDL Advanced level certification desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent prioritization skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to build successful relationships with external suppliers
- Ability to build successful relationships with internal teams
- Proactive work approach
- Detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently

Aufgaben
- Create and manage translation projects in XTM TMS
- Implement translation projects, meeting deadlines and budgets
- Identify and implement AI tools for workflow efficiency
- Translate content from English to German, ensuring consistency
- Perform file alignments and update translation memories
- Prepare files for translation to ensure resource efficiency
- Source and onboard external translators and LSPs
- Manage external translators and SMEs, ensuring quality
- Provide clear briefings to suppliers on project scope
- Conduct quality checks on translated materials
- Ensure cultural and technical accuracy in translations
- Act as central point of communication for feedback
- Address and escalate issues to Localisation Lead and EPM
- Handle administrative duties, including file management
- Report and communicate with internal teams
- Collaborate with content teams for smooth project workflows
