As an In-Orbit Services Flight Software System Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the Nyx vehicle family. Your daily tasks will involve managing software projects, defining requirements, and ensuring high-quality delivery while collaborating with various engineering disciplines.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• •Five years of professional work in a related area
• •Proven experience in developing software architectures for aerospace or similar complex systems
• •Proven experience in real-time distributed system design, implementation, and debugging
• •Strong background in software development
• •Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink
• •Familiarity with hardware in the loop (HIL) and software in the loop (SIL) testing methodologies
• •Excellent problem-solving skills
• •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• •Strong communication skills

Aufgaben

• •Take ownership of work packages related to Flight Software
• •Define functional breakdowns and high-level requirements
• •Manage and maintain technical baselines for project design
• •Manage interfaces and requirements with Avionics and hardware sections
• •Provide software architectures and conceptual designs
• •Perform technical trade-offs and budget calculations
• •Develop low-level software elements like operating systems and drivers
• •Create high-level software applications and control algorithms
• •Provide development logic and implementation plans
• •Ensure timely and quality delivery of work packages
• •Collaborate with the Bid Manager on technical proposals for new projects
