- Proven ability to own and deliver finance systems or ERP roadmap
- Demonstrating robust governance, stakeholder alignment, and programme oversight
- Ensuring clear prioritisation and transparent trade-off decisions
- Solid integration background overseeing end-to-end connections
- Solid understanding of data flows, dependencies, and cross-functional delivery models
- Experienced people leader capable of building high-performing teams
- Empowering technical leads and creating a culture of ownership

- Commercially confident
- Substantial experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
- Driving demonstrable value from partners and service providers
- Highly credible at intersection of Finance and Technology
- Engage confidently with CFO-level stakeholders
- Guiding technical delivery teams
- Ensuring system reliability, risk management, and audit readiness
- Solid functional familiarity with ERP platforms (ideally D365 F&O or equivalent)
- Understanding of integration and cloud concepts (APIs, Azure, middleware)
- Confidence using programme and backlog tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Excellent communication skills

- Enable efficient, compliant, and scalable financial operations
- Partner with Finance and Technology leadership
- Define finance systems roadmap
- Lead finance systems delivery
- Oversee finance systems health
- Steer modernization of payment processes
- Own multiyear finance systems strategy
- Translate leadership priorities into a roadmap
- Balance major programs, continuous improvement, and stability
- Align finance system deliverables with Product & Technology ways of working
- Define and track KPIs/OKRs
- Make tradeoff decisions on scope, timelines, and investment
- Act as senior point of contact for finance systems topics
- Own governance model for change
- Represent finance systems at steering committees
- Lead change management for Finance teams
- Build and lead a high-performing finance systems organization
- Own hiring, onboarding, performance, and career development
- Own the finance systems budget
- Ensure budget spend delivers measurable value
- Manage key vendor relationships
- Hold partners accountable for performance
- Ensure reliability and continuity of finance systems
- Own risk register and partner on mitigations
- Act as escalation point for critical incidents
- Coordinate leadership response to incidents
- Oversee compliance and audit readiness
