- Shape and execute R&D strategy in oncology
- Lead strategic partnerships in oncology
- Drive innovation and identify high-impact opportunities
- Steer cross-functional efforts to build a competitive pipeline
- Develop internal oncology technology platforms and assets
- Partner with pharma and biotech companies
- Create spin-out companies
- Provide strategic guidance and oncology expertise
- Broaden and develop an attractive product candidate pipeline
- Manage the Oncology R&D team and BMS-Onco core team
- Develop Evotec’s Innovate Oncology and platform portfolio
- Drive next-generation innovation with commercial potential
- Propose, defend, and manage the R&D budget
- Support internal R&D efforts with disease know-how
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with collaborators
- Ensure collaboration and internal projects meet goals
- Set aligned goals for team members
- Drive performance and create a positive development climate
- Provide scientific leadership
- Collaborate with Operations, Key Account Management, and Business Development
- Identify, shape, and convert R&D projects into partnerships
- Work constructively with all functions and disciplines
- Represent Evotec’s expertise at events and conferences
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals
