Anforderungen

• •Degree in remote sensing, meteorology or equivalent
• •Effective English and basic French skills
• •Experience in spacecraft and ground operations
• •Experience in team leading and coordination
• •Experience in System Engineering and Development
• •Experience in large project management
• •Strong inter-personal and teamwork skills
• •Competence in planning and scheduling
• •Experience in international cooperation (advantageous)
• •Nationality of EUMETSAT Member State
• •Disclosure of all nationalities held

Aufgaben

• •Supervise the Copernicus System Operations Team
• •Coordinate activities of outsourced services
• •Support the System Operations Manager
• •Engineer end-to-end Copernicus system operations
• •Ensure compliance with Service Level Specifications
• •Define and implement service monitoring
• •Maximize synergies across multi-mission operations
• •Collaborate with internal technical departments
• •Liaise with external entities like ESA and NASA
• •Define future satellite operations concepts
• •Plan system level verification activities
• •Participate in management coordination groups
• •Manage operations engineering change requests
• •Deputize for the System Operations Manager
