- Proven experience in EO ground segments and system operations
- At least two years' experience in system operations of EO missions
- At least two years' experience in system operations engineering of complex EO ground segments
- Experience in verification and validation of EO ground segments
- GEO-specific experience
- GEO spacecraft operations (spinning and/or 3-axis stabilized)
- Very good analysis skills
- Very good synthesis skills
- Very good presentation skills
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Very good communication skills
- Very good reporting skills
- Ability to apply interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills in team interactions
- At least two years' experience with UNIX / Linux systems
- Ability to learn and develop needed skills and knowledge
- Ability to rapidly absorb and use information
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of another European language is an advantage
- Compliance with European and US export control laws
