Anforderungen
- Proven experience managing distributed systems
- Experience with ClickHouse, including cluster operations, data modeling, MergeTree engines, query optimization, and replication strategies
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including StatefulSets, persistent volumes, networking, and security configurations
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka
- Working knowledge of analytics and search platforms with preference given to OpenSearch
- Experience implementing GitOps practices and using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Helm
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash
Aufgaben
- Manage and optimize ClickHouse clusters in production environments
- Design schemas and tune queries for performance
- Set up replication and plan capacity for ClickHouse
- Operate and maintain Kafka and OpenSearch systems
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed systems
- Deploy and configure containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Manage stateful workloads on Kubernetes with a focus on security
- Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments
- Maintain version control for infrastructure and applications
- Design monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Enable proactive issue detection and fast resolution
- Conduct performance analysis across distributed systems
- Optimize systems to enhance resilience and meet SLA targets
- Develop clear technical documentation and runbooks
- Collaborate with engineering teams for reliable operations
