Anforderungen

  • •Deep experience in privacy, security, and AI laws
  • •Strong understanding of GDPR, LGPD, APAC privacy laws, and other global privacy laws
  • •Experience building privacy programs from the ground up
  • •First-hand experience of privacy regulatory investigations, incident response management, and breach reporting
  • •Excitement about mastering new areas of law and tech, particularly cryptocurrencies
  • •Excellent legal and business judgment and strategic thinking
  • •Effective communication with stakeholders on complex issues
  • •Detail-oriented, business-friendly, and a team player
  • •Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • •Ability to operate as a player coach and support a collaborative team
  • •Excellent academic credentials
  • •A sense of humor
  • •JD degree from an accredited university
  • •Active membership in at least one state bar
  • •15+ years of experience practicing law
  • •10+ years experience across product, IP, marketing, and other legal disciplines
  • •Experience leading in-house product legal teams
  • •Fluency in English
  • •Based in either San Francisco or Munich
  • •In-house counsel experience with a multinational corporation, preferably in the technology sector
  • •Experience in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency a plus
  • •Ability to communicate in other key languages

  • •Co-architect the legal function
  • •Collaborate with legal leads on strategy
  • •Lead the Privacy Legal team
  • •Provide legal guidance on privacy, security, and AI
  • •Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations
  • •Develop and maintain a global privacy program
  • •Conduct training, auditing, and reporting
  • •Establish relationships with regulatory and industry groups
  • •Oversee responses to privacy-related regulatory investigations
  • •Work with legal experts to ensure compliance
  • •Act as legal point of contact for the Information Security team
  • •Develop innovative processes to support privacy initiatives
  • •Stay updated on legal trends in the tech industry
  • •Provide thought leadership within the legal team
  • •Collaborate positively with team members
  • •Inspire and empower the Privacy team
