Business Development Manager Germany(m/w/x)
New business development for travel management solutions in charity and academic sectors. Proven B2B new business sales skills across SME and Enterprise markets required. Option to buy/sell annual leave, discounted staff travel.
Anforderungen
- Proven new business sales skills in structured B2B solutions environment
- Strong drive for new business and developing new prospects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Experience across both SME and Enterprise markets
- Experience in managing and responding to RFPs/tenders
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience working with travel bookers, heads of procurement, Finance Directors and C-level Executives
- Knowledge of working in complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders
- Strong IT competency - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management
Aufgaben
- Identify and close new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales Germany on target list and strategy
- Develop profitable leads from the target account list
- Follow a personal sales plan to drive activity levels
- Manage a balanced sales pipeline to meet revenue and margin targets
- Respond to RFPs and manage major bids and tenders
- Prepare and deliver high-quality client presentations
- Maintain current CRM information according to sales policy
- Identify and attend client-specific exhibitions and networking events
