Anforderungen
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, aerospace engineering or related field
- Several years of relevant professional experience in data-driven projects, preferably Agile environment
- Expertise in processing and analyzing aircraft sensor/maintenance data, or aircraft/fleet data including ILS or in-service data
- Hands-on experience developing/implementing health monitoring, predictive maintenance, or ILS models for aerospace
- Deep knowledge in data analysis and statistical interpretations (e.g. probability distributions, statistical tests, anomaly detection, Bayesian inference)
- Experience in Big Data Projects using Spark and Spark-Submit Jobs for ELT pipelines and data products
- Working knowledge of Unix systems, command-line operations and scripting (e.g., Bash)
- Expertise in DevOps and Python coding in production environment, excellent SQL technologies and databases knowledge
- Experience developing visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire) and front-end applications (Streamlit, Django)
- Fluent English and ideally also German
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity
Aufgaben
- Ask questions to support the discovery process
- Identify data-analytics problems with the greatest organizational opportunities
- Perform exploratory data analysis using visualization
- Present findings to stakeholders using visualization
- Collate, transform, cleanse, and link data
- Provide data sets for machine data models
- Determine relationships between data source attributes
- Apply data mining techniques for statistical analysis
- Create and validate models, including ML models
- Perform exploratory data analysis, content extraction, and statistical analysis
- Develop and implement program prototypes and production code in Python
- Support proof-of-concept and ad-hoc requests
- Develop and handle MCMC simulations and analyze output
- Drive new working methods and data governance models
- Present results to diverse audiences
- Share and exchange knowledge with other teams
- Work closely with support teams and the design office
