- SW development and interface definitions (C, C++, ADA 95, Python, GDB)
- SW design and SW architecture for embedded software and distributed systems
- Solid foundation and hands on skills in Linux environment and development toolchain
- V-model based SW development process
- Eurofighter avionics and MaTE Bus simulator knowledge
- Defensive Aids Subsystems and electronic warfare fundamentals
- Linux development environment and related toolchains
- Tools such as git, confluence, jira, bitbucket, DOORS
- IT literate (MS Office applications)
- Degree in computer science or engineering
- Experience across entire software engineering lifecycle for complex systems
- Good English language skills, written and spoken
- Ability to work with high autonomy and collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary team
- Capability to respond to changes in activities and priorities
- Strong communication skills in multi-cultural environment
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity
Aufgaben
- Define, implement, and integrate complex simulation subsystems
- Collaborate with other departments and external suppliers
- Develop software for Defensive Aids Subsystems
- Perform testing and integration activities for Defensive Aids Subsystems
- Contribute to high-fidelity simulation solutions for Praetorian DASS
- Contribute to high-fidelity simulation solutions for future Eurofighter Electronic Warfare capabilities
- Retarget aircraft software
- Simulate defensive aids models
- Integrate 3rd party components
- Design and develop software, including optimization
- Further develop existing subsystems
- Retarget embedded aircraft software for M68k or PPC CPUs
- Harmonize and implement interfaces with internal partners and external suppliers
- Support integration and testing activities at simulation devices
- Contribute to all phases of the software development process
- Perform requirements engineering
- Perform subsystem qualification
