Aufgaben
- Translate real customer problems into models with the math and OR team
- Develop the engine that runs customer models
- Model planning problems including capacities, costs, lead times, and shift plans
- Integrate data from ERP and Excel exports
- Identify and correct incorrect data before customer use
- Build, improve, and maintain the interface between software and mathematics
- Define abstraction layers and modeling vocabulary for model building
- Ensure solves are observable while running and reproducible after completion
- Identify conflicting rules and the cost of relaxing them in solves
- Scale models to more sites, periods, and complex searches
- Implement warm starts, rolling horizons, and matheuristics
- Manage multiple customers solving simultaneously with required isolation
- Take features from initial development through to production
