In this hands-on role, you will plan and execute trials while collaborating with teams to develop innovative solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve operating equipment, analyzing data, and ensuring safety compliance, all while engaging with customers.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or completed technical apprenticeship with relevant experience
• •Hands-on mentality
• •Strong communication skills
• •Hunger for engaging with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• •Solid understanding of polymer processing technologies with focus on multilayer film & sheet extrusion
• •Understanding of extrusion die design, screw geometry, and feed block structure
• •Understanding of polymers rheology & structure property relationship
• •Hands-on experience with polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyesters
• •Knowledge or willingness to learn conversion technologies such as thermoforming & coating
• •Understanding of product development process from concept to commercial scale
• •Good project management skills
• •German native or bilingual
• •Fluent English skills required (oral and written)
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• •Knowledge of design software such as SolidWorks, CAD CAM
• •Understanding of regulatory and ISO/EU systems
• •Background in Pharma/Medical Device Packaging

Aufgaben

• •Plan and conduct extrusion, thermoforming, and coating trials on pilot-scale equipment
• •Operate and troubleshoot extrusion machinery and thermoforming equipment
• •Collaborate with teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions
• •Support innovation engineers on various work packages
• •Contribute to the development and optimization of extrusion processes
• •Assist during customer visits and technical discussions during trials
• •Analyze trial data and document results
• •Prepare technical reports and presentations
• •Ensure safe operation and compliance with internal standards
• •Maintain lab and equipment readiness through calibration and cleaning
• •Support training and onboarding on extrusion equipment and safety protocols
• •Manage purchase orders and invoices for iCenter services
