Anforderungen

  • •At least 5 years of professional experience as a Game Dev Engineer, UE4 Developer, or comparable role
  • •At least 2 years of proven experience in a Senior or Lead Position
  • •Striving for exemplary code and understanding its importance
  • •Experience working in a fully remote working environment
  • •Operating no more than 3 hours from Central European Time (CET/CEST)
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • •Strong written and spoken English
  • •Expertise in UE4, with a focus on Blueprints and C++
  • •Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • •Ability to collaborate and work well with other disciplines
  • •Comfortable wearing many hats and adapting to new tasks
  • •Knowledgeable in refactoring and optimization when appropriate
  • •Excellent technical design and/or code review skills
  • •Proficiency in C++ is a plus
  • •Experience with version control, preferably Git
  • •Experience with UE5
  • •Experience with Perforce Helix Core
  • •Passion for blockchain and technology in general

  • •Design and implement C++ code with clean patterns and blueprint interfaces in Unreal Engine
  • •Fix bugs and maintain the plugin/application code base
  • •Analyze and resolve common issues in plugins and modules, focusing on memory usage and performance
  • •Collaborate with networking software engineers to develop a scalable multi-server solution
  • •Integrate audio effects to enhance player immersion and feedback
  • •Create blueprints and develop tools to automate tasks in Unreal Engine 4/5
  • •Quickly address issues related to audio, art, and other departments
  • •Maintain existing products and monitor their performance
  • •Contribute to the design and implementation of user experience improvements
  • •Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and test coverage
