- Minimum 5+ yrs at Senior Principal Scientist Level and 8+ years at Associate Director level in clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics or related industry background
- Extensive knowledge of pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism and PK/PD evaluation
- Experience in working in project teams (preferably global)
- Sound awareness of recent developments in drug development and regulatory sciences
- Success in cross-functional, matrixed, project-team environment
- Influential team player and talented negotiator
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven record of mentorship and/or people management
- Hands-on project experience with AI/ML approaches is a plus
Aufgaben
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacology strategies
- Support transformative new medicines through late clinical development
- Collaborate with PK Science disciplines, Drug Disposition, Modeling & Simulation, and Operations
- Represent PK Sciences in cross-functional project teams and regulatory interactions
- Lead PK Science Subteam with interdisciplinary representation
- Ensure project strategy implementation, monitor timelines, objectives, and budgets
- Present projects at institutional review and approval boards
- Contribute to drug candidate development across Research, Development, and Commercial continuum
- Design and analyze PK and PK/PD data for nonclinical and clinical studies
- Provide PK, dosage, PK/PD, and M&S components for study protocols and reports
- Author pharmacokinetic, clinical pharmacology, and biopharmaceutics sections of regulatory documents
- Prepare responses to global Health Authority questions
- Mentor and manage junior associates
- Deliver results through disciplined execution and continuous improvement
- Prioritize resources and decisions for maximum impact
- Role model Novartis leadership behaviors
- Build trust through transparent communication and consistent delivery
- Empower innovation and improvement while maintaining high standards
- Leverage AI and digital tools for enhanced insight and decision-making
