- LTK 2 or equivalent FELASA Cat. C certification
- Expertise in leading preclinical animal model studies
- Expertise in renal or liver fibrosis animal models
- Experience with ex-vivo rodent tissue assays
- Ability to influence within matrixed environments
- Team-orientation and collaborative mindset
- Commitment to mentoring and talent development
- Excellent oral and written English communication
- Desirable proficiency in German
Aufgaben
- Serve as the in vivo pharmacology lead
- Oversee a team of laboratory research scientists
- Define in vivo pharmacology strategies for projects
- Guide multi-disciplinary teams toward decision milestones
- Design and interpret rodent in vivo and ex vivo experiments
- Identify and validate new drug targets
- Discover in vivo target engagement biomarkers
- Mentor research scientists to foster scientific growth
- Manage due diligence and external research collaborations
- Oversee the outsourcing of in vivo studies
- Report project strategies and data to stakeholders
