- Proven track record of building end-to-end CV/ML systems from 0→1
- Experience with commercial products rather than purely academic projects
- Strong expertise with video-based pipelines
- Expertise in human action or behavior recognition
- Solid software engineering skills
- Experience working with real-world, noisy data
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-uncertainty environment
- Ability to prioritize experiments
- Ability to iterate quickly on technical approaches
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly in English
- Eligible to work in the hiring location
- Experience with privacy-aware or GDPR-compliant data pipelines
- Background in building or selecting annotation tools and workflows
- Prior work on retail, autonomous stores using computer vision

- Define and prioritize technical experiments
- Validate key risks for CV models in retail
- Design and implement end-to-end CV/ML pipelines
- Set up and refine human annotation workflow
- Create high-quality training and test datasets
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers
- Clarify requirements and align on milestones
- Translate business needs into technical roadmaps
- Select and optimize CV architectures for detection
- Provide technical leadership in video-based CV
- Shape best practices and future hiring
