Anforderungen
- University degree in marketing, business, fundraising, communication, international affairs, social sciences, or equivalent professional experience
- 6-9 years professional experience in business development, major donor fundraising, or related discipline
- Solid understanding of fundraising principles and approaches for HNWIs
- Ability to manage a robust account management portfolio
- In-depth knowledge of philanthropic ecosystems
- Experience summarizing complex subjects into simple, compelling concepts
- Experience drafting communication and engagement strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Very good knowledge of philanthropic environment
- Knowledge of databases and CRM management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Committed and highly motivated team player
- Good understanding of current humanitarian issues and priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and navigate complex institutional set-up
- Flexibility, independence, and self-motivation
- Passion for humanitarian work and commitment to ICRC's mission
- Travel within Switzerland or other countries may be required
- Settlement in Switzerland required for non-EU/EFTA nationals
Aufgaben
- Develop and implement global major donor strategy
- Manage and grow major donor portfolio in priority countries
- Build and maintain personalized donor relationships
- Acquire and steward new major donors
- Plan and execute targeted donor engagement actions
- Monitor donor interactions and identify advancement opportunities
- Collaborate on designing fundraising tools and products
- Contribute to concept notes and proposals
- Organize and manage fundraising events
- Research and qualify new major donor prospects
- Define donor targets based on ICRC’s mandate
- Develop targeted outreach strategies for prospects
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in fundraising
- Translate insights into actionable priorities
- Contribute to private sector fundraising evolution
- Align donor expectations with humanitarian priorities
- Ensure institutional constraints are met
- Work beyond normal hours for evening events
- Travel for personalized donor relationships
- Represent ICRC appropriately in all activities
- Perform additional tasks as requested
- Support other departments when needed
