Anforderungen
- University degree in marketing, business, fundraising, communication, international affairs, social sciences, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 to 8 years professional experience in business development, major donor fundraising, or related discipline

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and navigate complex institutional environment
- Travel within Switzerland or other relevant countries may be required
Aufgaben
- Enact the private fundraising strategy and secure donations
- Manage, develop, and prospect individual major donor portfolios
- Lead the development and implementation of a global strategy for major donors
- Build and maintain personalized relationships with major donors
- Acquire, steward, and maintain new donors
- Encourage donor progression in their supporter journey
- Plan and execute targeted engagement actions
- Monitor donor interactions and identify opportunities
- Design and develop tailor-made fundraising tools and products
- Contribute to concept notes and proposals
- Organize, manage, and animate fundraising events
- Identify, research, and qualify new major donor prospects
- Define donor targets based on affinity and alignment
- Develop targeted outreach strategies for prospects and new donors
- Contribute to strategic positioning of private sector fundraising
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in markets
- Translate market insights into actionable priorities
- Develop and refine engagement and funding models
- Ensure alignment between donor expectations and humanitarian priorities
- Work beyond normal working hours for evening events
- Travel within Switzerland or other relevant countries
- Represent the ICRC appropriately during activities and events
- Perform tasks not covered in the job description when requested
- Provide support to other departments when necessary
