Aufgaben
- Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for EU entities
- Ensure payroll accuracy, completeness, and timely payments
- Comply with local labor and tax regulations
- Partner with HR and BDO on payroll matters
- Process manual payments for new entities
- Manage payroll-related balance sheet accounts for EU entities
- Reconcile salaries payable, social security liabilities, and bonus accruals
- Oversee PTO, vacation, and leave accrual calculations
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws for leave liabilities
- Prepare monthly PTO balance reports
- Review payroll-related journal entries
- Reconcile payroll entries to the general ledger
- Coordinate payroll treatment of stock-based compensation
- Ensure proper taxation and reporting of equity awards
- Align equity compensation with corporate policies
- Partner with BDO and Tax on equity compensation
- Validate annual employee certificates for equity
- Ensure timely payroll tax filings and social security contributions
- Coordinate statutory reports with local authorities and providers
- Maintain and strengthen payroll internal controls
- Support SOX documentation and testing
- Ensure audit readiness for internal and external audits
- Manage accounting for the France entity (approx. 30% of time)
- Lead preparation of statutory financial statements for France entities
- Oversee VAT return preparation and filing for France
- Coordinate VAT filings with internal tax teams and external advisors
- Ensure balance sheet integrity across all DACH entities
