Anforderungen
- Proven hands-on experience as Observability Engineer, Monitoring Engineer or similar
- Practical experience with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and related tooling
- Experience designing and operating telemetry pipelines
- Experience with observability in distributed systems and cloud native architectures
- Experience with LLM observability for AI/ML workloads
- Experience migrating monitoring platforms to observability platforms (strong plus)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Experience with on-premises Microsoft virtualised infrastructures
- Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, JSON, YAML)
- Experience deploying Observability solutions as IaC (Terraform)
- Good understanding of IT service management processes (plus)
- Good understanding of event driven operations (plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
- German language skills (plus)
Aufgaben
- Design, implement, and operate observability solutions
- Engineer, operate, and improve observability platforms
- Implement and maintain telemetry collection for metrics, logs, and traces
- Design and operate scalable telemetry pipelines
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and service level indicators
- Integrate observability platforms with IT service management solutions
- Support migration from legacy monitoring platforms
- Troubleshoot complex performance and availability issues
- Collaborate with teams, providing guidance and best practices
- Contribute to observability standards, best practices, and guidelines
- Contribute input to observability strategy and roadmap planning
- Create and maintain operational documentation and runbooks
