- Research, design, and implement security solutions
- Ensure security in hardware, software, and cloud service evaluation
- Define system security requirements
- Develop technical solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Automate repeatable security processes
- Operate and improve vulnerability management
- Assess and prioritize vulnerability findings
- Coordinate remediation activities with teams
- Collaborate with external Security Operations Center
- Enhance detection use cases
- Improve runbooks and incident workflows
- Respond to security incidents, penetration tests, and audits
- Analyze infrastructure, cloud, and security logs
- Identify trends and potential security incidents
- Review and update cybersecurity policies
- Support cybersecurity architecture and standards
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in virtual teams
- Take ownership of security-related products
- Prepare clear technical documentation
